2. Website Use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website functionality, submit malicious code, scrape data, or use the website in a way that could damage CopyTec South Jordan, its customers, vendors, or systems.
CopyTec South Jordan may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the website at any time without notice.
Product information, descriptions, pricing, turnaround times, promotions, and availability shown on the website are subject to change without notice.
3. Quotes and Estimates
Quotes and estimates are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of request. Final pricing may change if project specifications change, including but not limited to quantity, paper type, size, color, finishing, turnaround time, artwork condition, file setup requirements, shipping, delivery, or vendor pricing.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotes are valid for 14 days.
A quote is not an order confirmation. Production does not begin until CopyTec South Jordan has received all required files, information, approvals, and payment or approved payment terms.
4. Orders and Acceptance
CopyTec South Jordan reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to file issues, unavailable materials, pricing errors, inappropriate content, suspected fraud, production limitations, or vendor availability.
An order may require payment, artwork approval, proof approval, or additional information before production begins.
5. Customer-Supplied Files and Artwork
Customers are responsible for submitting accurate, complete, print-ready files. This includes correct size, bleed, margins, resolution, color settings, fonts, images, spelling, grammar, page order, orientation, and final content.
CopyTec South Jordan may review files for obvious production issues, but we are not responsible for identifying or correcting all errors in customer-supplied artwork.
Common file issues include, but are not limited to:
- Missing bleed or trim marks
- Low-resolution images
- Incorrect sizing
- Missing fonts
- Incorrect color setup
- Margins too close to the edge
- Spelling or grammar errors
- Incorrect dates, names, phone numbers, addresses, or QR codes
- Incorrect page count or page order
If file correction, design work, formatting, or prepress setup is required, additional charges may apply.
6. Proofs and Customer Approval
When a proof is provided, the customer is responsible for reviewing it carefully before approval. Approval may be given in writing, by email, through an online proofing system, in person, or by any other confirmation method accepted by CopyTec South Jordan.
Once a proof is approved, CopyTec South Jordan is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof, including spelling, layout, color, image quality, margins, sizing, page order, or content errors.
Production may begin immediately after approval. Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges, delays, or may not be possible if production has already started.
7. Color Matching and Print Variation
Printed color may vary from what appears on a screen. Screens display color using light, while printed materials use ink or toner on physical material. Differences in monitor calibration, paper stock, coating, print process, lighting, and finishing may affect final appearance.
Exact color matching is not guaranteed unless a specific written color-matching agreement is made before production.
Reasonable variation in color, trimming, folding, cutting, finishing, and quantity is considered normal in commercial printing.
8. Bleed, Margins, and Cutting
For designs intended to print to the edge of the finished piece, customers must provide proper bleed. If files are submitted without bleed, white edges may appear after trimming.
CopyTec South Jordan is not responsible for content placed too close to the trim edge. Important text, logos, borders, QR codes, and design elements should be kept safely inside the trim area.
Minor cutting and finishing variation is normal.
9. Turnaround Times
Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees, unless specifically agreed to in writing.
Turnaround begins only after all required files, approvals, job specifications, and payment arrangements have been received.
Turnaround times may be affected by file problems, proofing delays, customer response time, equipment issues, material availability, vendor delays, weather, shipping delays, staffing, or other circumstances outside our control.
Rush orders may be available for an additional fee. Rush fees do not guarantee completion if required files, approvals, or materials are delayed.
10. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of order unless prior written credit terms have been approved by CopyTec South Jordan.
Orders may be held until payment is received. For larger or custom orders, a deposit or full prepayment may be required.
Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes, shipping, delivery, and additional charges related to the order.
Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may result in additional fees, collection costs, and suspension of future services.
11. Financial Information
When you make a purchase on the website, you may be asked to provide financial information, such as credit card or payment account information.
By making a purchase, you authorize CopyTec South Jordan and its payment service providers to use the financial information necessary to process your transaction.
CopyTec South Jordan may provide financial information to service providers and third parties as needed to process transactions, including credit card processors, payment platforms, banking institutions, fraud prevention providers, and related service providers.
CopyTec South Jordan does not intentionally store full credit card numbers unless required and handled through secure payment systems.
12. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled only before production has started.
Once design work, file setup, proofing, printing, cutting, finishing, outsourcing, special ordering, or production has begun, the order may not be eligible for cancellation or refund.
If an order is cancelled after work has started, the customer is responsible for all work completed, materials ordered, vendor costs, labor, and administrative time incurred up to the cancellation date.
13. Refunds, Reprints, and Store Credit
Because most print orders are custom-made, refunds are not provided for customer-approved files, customer-supplied artwork errors, changes of mind, incorrect quantities ordered, late customer approvals, color expectations based on screen display, or delays caused by customer-provided files or information.
If CopyTec South Jordan determines that we made a production error, we may, at our discretion, offer a reprint, correction, store credit, or refund for the affected portion of the order.
Claims must be submitted within 5 business days of pickup, delivery, or receipt of the order. The customer may be required to return the full order or provide photos before a reprint, credit, or refund is approved.
CopyTec South Jordan is not responsible for errors or defects reported after the claim period.
14. Shipping, Delivery, and Pickup
Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup, delivery, and shipping information.
Once an order leaves our possession through a carrier, courier, or third-party delivery provider, CopyTec South Jordan is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, damage, or misdelivery caused by the carrier or delivery provider.
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
If an order cannot be shipped within the stated or expected timeframe, we will notify the customer when required and provide available options, which may include waiting for the order, changing the order, or cancelling the unshipped portion for a refund as required by applicable law.
Completed orders should be picked up promptly. Orders left unclaimed for more than 30 days may be discarded without refund unless prior arrangements are made.
15. Outsourced and Third-Party Products
Some products or services may be produced, fulfilled, shipped, or partially completed by third-party vendors. These may include specialty printing, apparel, signs, promotional products, large-format items, finishing, mailing, or other services.
Third-party production may be subject to vendor timelines, tolerances, stock availability, shipping schedules, and production limitations.
CopyTec South Jordan is not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party vendors, carriers, or suppliers, but we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve production issues.
16. Design Services
Design, layout, file repair, formatting, typesetting, and prepress work are billable services unless otherwise stated in writing.
Design charges may apply even if the customer decides not to proceed with printing.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, editable source files remain the property of CopyTec South Jordan. Final print-ready files may be provided at our discretion or for an additional fee.
17. Copyright, Trademark, and Content Responsibility
The customer represents that they own or have permission to use all submitted artwork, logos, images, fonts, trademarks, names, text, and other content.
The customer agrees not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, abusive, misleading, or otherwise improper.
CopyTec South Jordan reserves the right to refuse any job that we believe may violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights, or that we consider inappropriate for production.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CopyTec South Jordan from claims, damages, costs, or expenses arising from customer-submitted content.
18. Personal and Business Information
Certain areas of the website may ask for personal information, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number, and business information, such as business name, business address, and business telephone number.

Delays in customer response may delay production and delivery.
Communication by email, phone, online forms, text, website submission, or other reasonable methods may be used to manage orders and approvals.
27. Privacy
Customer information is used to process quotes, orders, payments, communication, delivery, shipping, production, and customer service.
File uploads may contain customer-provided artwork, names, addresses, business information, photos, logos, or other content necessary to complete an order.
Customers should not upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the requested project.
28. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CopyTec South Jordan’s liability for any order is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
CopyTec South Jordan is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business-loss damages, including lost profits, missed deadlines, lost opportunities, event costs, postage costs, advertising costs, replacement costs, or damages beyond the amount paid for the affected order.
29. No Guarantee of Business Results
CopyTec South Jordan does not guarantee that printed materials, marketing materials, signage, mailers, business cards, flyers, apparel, promotional products, or other products will produce any specific business result, sales result, response rate, traffic, conversion, or revenue.
30. Force Majeure
CopyTec South Jordan is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to equipment failure, power outages, labor shortages, supply shortages, vendor delays, shipping delays, weather, natural disasters, emergencies, acts of government, internet outages, cyberattacks, or other unforeseen events.
